TAKING
ACTION DURING A CRISIS
At
a time when the ground which we walk on is shaking and
rumbling with economic earthquakes, the thing to do
is not look at the ground but to look up and forward.
Preserving
our job is not good enough. We need ideas and strategies
which will help our company to re-strategise.
From
our experience, many companies plan their strategies
without reference to the realities on the landscape,
be it availability of resources, support and approval
of directors, market sentiment or a host of other crucial
factors.
To
come up with a realistic strategy for recovery, to compete
successfully, companies need a thorough assessment of
factors that may be crucial in determining the outcome
of any plan.
With
our ScanKey system, individuals, teams and think tanks
we have trained have found, a framework which provides
them with a useful tool that helps them to shift their
thinking paradigms and plan for the future with judicious
perspective.
This framework also brings to life a component of cooperative
and synergistic approach which allows team leaders to
tap the thinking potential of their human resources
to the fullest.
Such
synergistic effort overcomes hurdles posed by the need
for high buy-in levels and avoids the unpleasantness
of retrospective backtracking on the factorial input
which went into our planning.
There
are those who fear such methodical approaches will require
too much time but the ultimate question is whether such
temporal investment is not justified when thousands
of jobs are saved and millions of dollars are saved
in the process.
Take
it from us: This is not the time to discuss colour coordination
in dress codes or accuracy in target shooting, much
less attend training which results in lots of laughter
but not much else.
Good things don’t come easy. Good ideas &
strategies, are the fruit of good effective thinking
and synergetic exploration. This is especially true
in the challenging time we are presently in.
With
our 19 years of experience as top-performing world-class
trainers, we are confident we can share thinking systems
that would prove invaluable once the dust settles.
Through
the turbulent times of the past, graduates of our training
have gained from revitalized thinking strategies, which
in turn, re-energised the companies and organisations
they worked for.
So
in this time of crisis, will you be sticking your head
in the sand or will you take affirmative action and
do something about it?
